It can be difficult to find an educational opportunity that takes place in a location convenient for you, focuses on your area of specialization, offers a truly expert faculty and provides an opportunity to network with other professionals who share your interests. Fortunately, the ACR is holding educational programs in the centralized city of Chicago May 1–3 that offer all of the above and will be sure to suit your learning needs.
The 2015 State-of-the-Art Clinical Symposium, being held on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, is a one-and-a-half-day event that provides the latest information in the field of rheumatology, with an emphasis on clinical application to the rheumatology practice. At this symposium, you’ll hear key opinion leaders discuss a range of content in such areas as therapeutic developments, recent research findings and scientific advances—all delivered in an environment conducive to dialogue and networking.
In addition to the dynamic lectures, you’ll have an opportunity to participate in various breakfast and lunch workshops. Enrollment for these workshops is limited, and many will sell out—so sign up by Friday, April 17, and save over the on-site registration fees.
This year’s presymposium program, Rheumatology Clinical Documentation and ICD-10 Coding Course, held on Friday, May 1, will give great insight into specialty-specific coding guidelines and conventions to help you navigate the path to ICD-10 implementation—a perfect highlight for you, health professionals and coding/billing staff in your practice.
