ACR/ARHP Annual Meeting Research Abstract Submission Tips

The American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ARHP) invite you to submit an abstract and take advantage of the opportunity to have your work peer reviewed by experts in rheumatology.

• Opportunity for Publication—The Annual Meeting draws thousands of abstracts submitted by rheumatology professionals from around the world. If accepted, your abstract will be published in an online supplement of Arthritis & Rheumatology.
• Global Reach—Your abstract could receive international coverage from various media outlets, in addition to thousands of web and social media impressions.

How to Submit an Abstract

All abstracts must be submitted online. The online system is simple: it allows you to save, view and update your submission any time before the deadline. To view the 2015 ACR/ARHP Call for Abstracts guidelines or submit an abstract.

5 Tips to Assist You with the Abstract Submission Process

1. Read the 2015 Call for Abstracts guidelines thoroughly prior to beginning the abstract submission process.
2. Use mixed case instead of all caps in the abstract title. Do not use acronyms or place a period in the abstract title.
3. Keep in mind that the total abstract character limit is 2,750 characters, and each uploaded table and/or graphic file will decrease the character count by 250 characters from the total limit allowed.
4. Use a common font type, such as Arial, Calibri or Helvetica, when composing the body of your abstract to avoid reformatting issues.
5. Complete your abstract submission before the deadline date to avoid any unforeseen technical issues or other errors. (Note: The abstract submission site closes at noon Eastern on Tuesday, June 23, and will not reopen.)
