Annual RheumPAC Matching Campaign & Appreciation Event

RheumPAC’s annual matching campaign will run Oct. 15– Nov. 15, coinciding with ACR Convergence 2023.

During this time, all donations to RheumPAC will be amplified by RheumPAC champions, who will match various dollar amounts for each contribution. Many champions will donate an additional, large sum for each first-time investor. In 2021, RheumPAC was able to raise more than $26,000 in just one month. Thanks to our matching champions, this is the best time to make your yearly investment in RheumPAC.

There is a lot at stake before the end of the year when it comes to the ACR’s policy priorities. The College’s advocacy team and volunteer leaders are focusing their efforts on supporting legislative solutions to address impending Medicare reimbursement cuts, the growth and sustainability of the rheumatology workforce, and pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) transparency to combat soaring drug costs. Help the ACR get these legislative priorities addressed during the 118th Congress by supporting these efforts:   

  • Make an investment at RheumPAC.org or in person at ACR Convergence 2023. If you have not made your 2023 donation yet, this is the best time to do it. If you are already a current supporter, tack on a little extra. Even a small donation of $5 or $10 will be amplified and turned into more than $100.
  • Sign up to be one of our RheumPAC Matching Champions. Pledge an amount for every contribution made by a returning or first-time donor. You can cap your maximum if you’d like. Contact [email protected] for more information.
  • Most importantly, tell your colleagues to play an active role and invest in RheumPAC. Small donations add up quickly. Get your entire practice or division to invest and let RheumPAC work on their behalf.

Donor Appreciation Event at ACR Convergence 2023

RheumPAC will be hosting a donor appreciation event during ACR Convergence 2023 to celebrate individuals’ commitments to rheumatology advocacy efforts. Invitations to donors above the bronze level will be sent via email. You must RSVP to attend. Check your inbox or reach out to [email protected] if you believe you qualify and have not received an invitation.

Event:   RheumPAC Casino Night

When:  Monday, Nov. 13, 6:30–9:30 p.m. PST

Where:   DiamondView Tower (350 10th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101)

What: Take in the San Diego skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows while enjoying drinks and appetizers with fellow investors. Try your luck with blackjack, roulette and craps games available throughout the evening. One lucky winner will receive a Las Vegas prize package that includes a two-night stay for two on the Vegas Strip. Our venue, the Skybox at DiamondView Tower, is ranked number two in the nation for stunning rooftop views, and it promises to be an event you will not want to miss!
