“It’s good to know that people who have arthritis and pain syndromes have a choice of the medications they might take,” he says. “It’s possible that people who are older or who are at risk of GI bleeding probably should start out with Celebrex, because it’s less likely to cause hypertension and it’s less likely to cause cardiovascular events than the other two drugs.”
