Handy Resources
Resources that can be useful in preparing for the new codes to go into practice include offerings on the 2017 ICD-10-CM and GEMs (general equivalence mapping) page from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Some of the files that are available for download include code descriptions in tabular order, duplicate code numbers and ICD-10-CM Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting FY 2017.
