In response to the recently published clinical guidance for the care of adult patients with rheumatic diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ACR is hosting a virtual town hall for the rheumatology community on Wednesday, May 6, at 7–8 p.m. EDT, to review the recommendations.
Moderated by ACR President Ellen M. Gravallese, MD, and ACR Secretary Ken Saag, MD, MSc, the town hall will feature the ACR’s clinical recommendations, which address various treatment options and provide general guidance. Ted Mikuls, MD, lead author and chair of the ACR Clinical Guidance Task Force, will be leading the presentation and additional key experts from the task force will also take part.
Registration for the town hall is required. Registered attendees are encouraged to submit questions about the guidance that may be answered during the town hall. Questions can be submitted in the Questions & Comments box on the online form at the time of registration or emailed to [email protected].
The deadline to register is Wednesday, May 6, at noon ET.
In follow-up to the clinical guidance draft summary, the full paper is now available and can be accessed here.
