“Understand what the IPAB is and how it can restrict your ability to care for patients in need. Then write letters, visit legislators, and help them understand why your patients are at risk if the IPAB is not repealed,” Dr. Lakhanpal says. “Every ACR member has the capability to make sure they speak out against political decisions that jeopardize the fate of their patients.”
