The ACR would like to thank all members who donated to RheumPAC during this year’s matching campaign, which raised more than $20,000 from ACR and ARP members and staff and another $7,300 from volunteer leaders who pledged additional funds for each of those donations made between Oct. 15 and the final day of ACR Convergence 2023.
This year’s campaign received donations from 103 ACR and ARP members and 26 donations from staff of the College, including 43 first-time RheumPAC donors.
RheumPAC advocates for 100% of the ACR and ARP membership impacted by:
- Medicare reimbursement;
- Funding for biomedical research;
- Issues related to being a pediatric subspecialist;
- Student loans;
- Step therapy protocols;
- Prior authorization requirements;
- Medical workforce shortages; and
- Visas and IMG-specific hurdles.
If you have not yet made your donation, you can still visit www.rheumpac.org to support our continued education of Congress on these issues.
The annual matching campaign allows contributions of any amount to have an enormous impact on advancing our advocacy efforts. We would like to thank our champions of RheumPAC, who stepped up to the plate and matched a total of $24 for each donation from a previous donor and $57 for each first-time donor.
